Our roots are in Stuttgart, where engineer diplomat Gustav Rommelsbacher founded his company in 1928 with the development and production of speaker systems. He was a true inventive spirit with innovative ideas and a keen sense for the trends and needs of the time. After World War II, Dinkelsbühl became his new home. In a garage, he began to manufacture electrical appliances, which were urgently needed at the time, using whatever materials he could get his hands on. Heaters, irons and portable stoves were produced under the robusta brand and soon shipped to many countries. The first brick building was built and expanded in the following years. His son, daughter and son-in-law joined the team, robusta became ROMMELSBACHER and, with great dedication, high quality products and the strengths of a family business, a brand was developed that is now known worldwide for its first-class products. In 1991, the third generation joined the company, and in 1995, the company moved into a significantly larger building complex, creating the perfect foundation for further growth. With the modernization and expansion in 2014, the location in Dinkelsbühl has been positioned for the future - for the fourth generation, which is already waiting soon. 110 employees, with a combined total of over 1,000 years of service at ROMMELSBACHER, develop, design and produce high-quality products Made in Germany, true to our motto "The joy of cooking".
