The alpaca is a camelid that lives in its natural environment in the Andes Cordillera up to 4,500 meters above sea level. This very sociable animal can only live in a herd of at least 3 individuals: a dominant male and female, accompanied by their young. Today, alpaca is highly valued by men for the quality of its wool.
