Our Ceylon tea is a great representative of one of the world's favorite teas. Perfectly balanced and with a vibrant aroma, it is refreshing and invigorating at any time of the day. Sri Lanka is renowned for the diversity of its growing regions and its climate is ideal for growing high-quality black tea. Our experienced tea masters combine teas from different tea gardens to create this balanced loose leaf blend. We use low-slope teas - harvested in sunny gardens less than 600 meters - to give the tea its color and strength. We then add tea leaves from gardens at higher altitudes with a cooler climate (between 600 and 1,200 meters) to give the blend a lighter, citrus flavor. Our loose leaf Ceylon is a truly versatile drink. With its rich amber color and fresh, spicy aromas, it tastes especially good when a lemon wedge is added to accentuate its spicy notes. With a longer infusion time, a little milk is a good way to sweeten the bitterness and bring out the deep flavors. Alternatively, you can enjoy the refined and fragrant flavor of our Ceylon loose leaf as a premium iced tea. Dilute a strong infusion with lemon, sugar and ice water for a refreshing hot-weather drink.
