"Green Tea Pure is our classic green tea. Carefully selected quality Chinese teas offer the perfect balance of pure grassy notes and soothing roasty aromas. Our tea masters source fine green teas from the Chinese provinces of Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang. This area, known as the 'Golden Triangle', is renowned for the quality of its teas. Our tea masters use high quality silver tips as well as Chun Mee leaf leaves. The tea is harvested in early spring, when it has a delicate and sweet aroma. Chun Mee translates to "precious eyebrow", a name inspired by the curved appearance of dried tea leaves. Its taste is more aromatic than that of other green teas. Green tea is an integral part of Chinese culture 5,000 years. Unlike black tea, green tea is generally not allowed to oxidize, so it retains its fresh color and grassy flavor. The leaves are prepared in large woks, a traditional technique that preserves the flavors and natural antioxidants of the tea plant. Pan-frying creates a delicate roasty flavor. We recommend brewing the tea bags in hot water at a temperature of about 80-85 °C, to preserve the natural flavor of the tea without releasing bitter substances. Pour freshly boiled water into the cup or teapot and let it cool for two to three minutes before adding the tea bag, or use a teapot with a variable temperature setting. No milk, for an early morning, mid-morning or lunch break boost. Green tea has a calming and purifying effect that revitalizes the senses and refreshes the taste. You can also serve our green tea as an iced tea, perhaps with a slice of lemon to emphasize the fresh flavor."

Pour 200 ml of fresh, boiling water over a tea bag and leave to infuse for approx. Leave to infuse for 4 minutes.
