What is PVD?

PVD cutlery is a must for modern and stylish dining. These vibrant and vivid colors are achieved through a coating process called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition).

After a second polishing, washing and ultrasonic cleaning, the items are placed in a vacuum chamber where they are colored by vaporizing the metal particles.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Austin cutlery is dishwasher safe (except PVD coated cutlery):

Rinse the cutlery before putting it in the dishwasher. Avoid contact with salt, vinegar and aggressive cleaning agents. Separate knives from spoons and/or forks to avoid corrosion from contact with different types of steel. Open the dishwasher door after the cycle is finished
