Organically Grown Sencha Green Tea. Origin China. Its infusion develops an aromatic and fresh taste.
Sencha is roasted using a unique method that is much gentler and more respectful of the integrity of the plant than the traditional method used for Chinese green teas. This is subjected to a steam bath for 15 to 45 seconds (very short time) to stop oxidation, and then the leaves are rolled and dried with hot air. The resulting aroma is a taste of grass or seaweed. The infusion is very green and slightly bitter. This tea can be drunk cold during summer.
Sencha green tea is known as the most antioxidant tea. On the one hand by its gentle roasting and on the other by the fact that the leaves are rolled, thus preserving the qualities of the plant.
We recommend an infusion time of 3 minutes in warm water at 80°C.
All our products are sold in a 200 gram resealable ziplock bag to preserve product quality.
