Ceremonial Matcha
Ceremonial Matcha is for the traditional and sophisticated enjoyment of matcha and originates from Japan. The tea leaves are shaded for 25-30 days to improve their quality. The green tea leaves are then ground into a fine green tea (matcha) powder in granite stone mills. The Ceremonial Matcha taste is characterized by an intense and full-bodied aroma, accompanied by a subtle sweetness and umami. Ceremonial Matcha is deep green in matcha powder and matcha foam. Matcha froths very easily with a bamboo matcha whip (chasen). Matcha quality is suitable for discerning tastes and the Japanese tea ceremony.
Preparation of matcha
- 1-2 g per preparation (approx. 1/2 teaspoon)
- Preheat the matcha bowl (chawan) and bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) with hot water
- Pour the matcha powder into the matcha bowl, pour 70-100 ml of warm water at 80° and make foam with the bamboo whisk

Note: After opening, store in a cool, dry place away from light, do not use boiling water
