TEMPUR material is a viscoelastic foam that precisely adapts to your body, providing individual support and pressure relief. The TEMPUR pillow feels very hard/firm/stiff. Is this normal? TEMPUR material reacts to room and body temperature. Initially it may feel firm or stiff, but it adapts to your individual needs over time, providing a comfortable sleeping experience. How does TEMPUR material react to temperature? Due to its temperature sensitivity, TEMPUR material feels firmer and molds more slowly at low room temperatures. Instead, the material feels softer in the warmer months.

Is there an adaptation period for TEMPUR products?
Some people need some adjustment period as the body needs to get used to the new support, material and feel. We therefore recommend thoroughly testing TEMPUR products for at least 14 days.
