- The Corinthian currant variety is an ancient Greek superfood that is grown exclusively in the Nemea area (Greece) and is part of a healthy Mediterranean diet.
- Organic Greek black golden currants in particular are shade dried. This slow drying method preserves the full and moist body of the sultana, the real aromas, the natural blue-black color and ultimately the authentic, rich taste.
- They can be eaten raw or added to muesli, yogurt, etc. for breakfast, but can also be used in cakes, puddings, biscuits, bread and gourmet confectionery.
