GYOKURO KIRISAKURA

This fine green tea Gyokuro first flush impresses with a sweet note and o pleasant umami flavor. Lovers of green teas, especially Kabusecha and Gyokuro, will appreciate this tea. This exceptional green tea is grown in Kirishima on Japan's Kyushu peninsula. The tea is visually impressive with its leaves fine, long, with intense green needles and with a green color of the cup.

PREPARATION

• 4 - 5 teaspoons / liter or 1 teaspoon / 200 ml
• 1st infusion: 50-55°C for 50 seconds 2nd - 4th infusion: 55°C for 20 seconds This tea can be infused several times. Depending on the intensity and the number of infusions, up to 40 liters of tea can be prepared from 100 g.

Ingredients: Green tea

We recommend using a Japanese teapot (Kyusu) to brew a good green tea like this. With an infusion amount of 200-400 ml, less tea needs to be used and the tea can be infused more often. Good Japanese teapots have an integrated tea strainer that holds the tea leaves in the teapot.

Preparation of Mizudashi
