How do I wash the blanket?
Because a lot can go wrong when washing blankets, you should always follow the instructions on the care label. Most blankets are made of polyester, which generally shouldn't be washed too hot. As a rule, washing at 30 - 40°C is recommended. Ideally, you should air dry the blanket after washing or tumble dry it on a low setting.
What washing program should I use?
We recommend using the wool program or the delicate cycle, for example. A spin cycle at 600 to 800 revolutions is usually completely sufficient. A colored detergent is suitable for washing, for example.
Can I use fabric softener?
Fabric conditioner should be avoided at all costs. Blanket fibers aren't made for fabric softener, so they may not warm up properly afterward. Alternatively, you can add a small drop of vinegar to the fabric softener compartment, the vinegar smell will disappear quickly after washing.
