Japan Sencha<
Sencha means "steamed tea" and so this tea is carefully processed and lightly steamed before being rolled and dried. The leaf forms a very fine and fragile structure. Leaves from the June and August harvests, especially from the Oku Midori bush variety, form the basis for this balanced everyday tea. The few leaf stems that are mixed with the leaves contribute to the rounded flavor of this tea. The infusion shines in a light olive green color and offers a harmonious, mild taste with a fresh, grassy note. This tea is grown by a family business in Kyushu, Japan.
Preparation
Ingredients: Green tea
This green tea from Japan is grown on the Japanese peninsula of Kyushu by a family business. The tea is carefully processed after harvesting and steamed using the Sencha method. The Oku Midori tea shrub variety serves as the base for this Sencha.
100% natural - no added flavors
Exclusive green tea of exceptional quality and unmistakable taste.
Ideally, this loose green tea should be brewed in a teapot with a tea strainer or a kyusu (Japanese teapot). The infusion temperature should be approximately 70°C and the infusion time approximately 1 minute. The tea can be infused several times and we recommend reducing the infusion time to 10-20 seconds. These are recommendations, and the preparation can, of course, be adapted to your own needs.
The tea is packaged in flavor-safe doypacks, which are ideal for tea storage. Thanks to the zipper mechanism, the reserve can be resealed. We recommend pressing the air out of the bag when closing and storing the tea in a cool place to keep it fresh for longer.
