VIETNAM OOLONG
In the mountainous Lam Dong province of southern Vietnam is the town of Bao Loc, where excellent oolong green teas have been produced for decades using methods handed down from the Taiwanese. Freshly picked tea leaves are first dried on cloths in the open air in the sun, then rolled into cylindrical bamboo baskets so that the leaves break and fermentation can begin. Once the desired degree of fermentation is reached, the tea is dried at low temperatures.
RECOMMENDATION PREPARATION
- 4 teaspoons / 1 liter
- 1st infusion: 90 °C for 3 minutes
- 2nd - 5th infusion: 90 °C for 1-3 minutes
