Product information
The little story of our matcha
"Do you also offer matcha tea?" - A question that has been asked repeatedly for some time now.
Unfortunately, we always had to answer in the negative.
Despite extensive research and numerous tastings, we just couldn't find a matcha that met all our criteria: a light herbal taste, not bitter, a bright green color, an extremely finely ground powder, Japanese origin... And all this at a reasonable price.
Our specifications seemed impossible, but finally...after a long search, we found this rare gem!
Our premium matcha offers the highest quality at a moderate price. It is ideal for discovering the flavor of this special tea and integrating it into everyday life, whether as tea, matcha latte or biscuits.
Preparation of matcha tea
- Measure the matcha: Measure the right amount of matcha (approx. 1-2 c) with the spoon and pour it into the chawan.
- Add hot water: Pour hot water (70-80°C), enough to cover the matcha.
- Beat: Using the chasen, vigorously beat the matcha and water, forming an "M" or a "W". Continue beating until the mixture becomes frothy and bubbles form on the surface.
- Fill with water or milk for a matcha latte.

Our pride and joy? The origin of our matcha!
Our matcha is grown according to organic principles by a small cooperative from the Shizuoka region of Japan - known for excellent quality of his teas! Matcha production is very time consuming. Each stage, from the cultivation of the tea plant and its necessary shading to harvesting, leaf selection, grinding between hand-cut granite stones and preparation, requires the input of expert tea growers.
