PILA garden
The modern PILA planter, with its vivid colors and rounded edges, fits on any balcony, in any garden and even in the home office. It combines perfectly with other elements of the LECHUZA PILA series and adds a planter to the PILA storage unit. The original LECHUZA self-watering system is integrated into the pots, ensuring that the plants always receive the required amount of water, even on hot summer days. Thanks to the large water tank and water level indicator, your green friends on the balcony or in the home office are perfectly taken care of. Excess water can easily drain out through the drain screw on the bottom of the pot. Removable planting insert with retractable handles makes planting easy. The PILA modular system allows individual combinations of different PILA elements and can also be combined with the PILA rolling pot, making it mobile. PILA is available in matte colours: sandy brown, coral red, light grey, pastel green, petrol blue and slate grey.

LECHUZA planting substrates
Recommendation: The LECHUZA-PON pure mineral planting substrate is the ideal substrate for your houseplants. For all outdoor and flowering plants, TERRAPON organic-mineral substrate is recommended. Please refer to the specified planting volume for the quantity required.
Original LECHUZA self-watering system
The plant is planted in the planting insert using LECHUZA-PON. The substrate provides support and supplies the plant with essential nutrients. It also regulates the water supply to the roots, ensuring that the plant always receives the desired amount of water from the reservoir.
Discreet matte finish
The high-quality plastic surface is weatherproof and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Choose from white, slate grey, nutmeg, petrol blue, pastel green, light grey, sandy brown and coral red.

Can the planter be used outside?
All planters with colored finish are weather and UV resistant. Therefore, they can be used without hesitation in the garden or on the terrace. Excess rainwater can drain by removing the overflow screw from the bottom.

Should old potting soil be removed from the root cell?
When planting, some potting soil is allowed to remain on the root cell. How do I plant correctly? Place the LECHUZA-PON drainage material included in the insert, place the plant inside and fill the pot with additional substrate. Initially, water the plant from above. After the initial watering phase, the plant will take water from the tank. How can I expand my PILA system? Up to two PILA storage modules can be combined with one PILA pot. PILA becomes mobile thanks to the rolling base.
