CANTO Slatestone down
An authentic slate-look surface, a minimalist shape and an intelligent irrigation system: all these are combined in the low planter CANTO Slatestone. Various plants, such as palm trees or shrubs, find their place in this square planting cube. Outside, the CANTO Slatestone low planter creates striking contrasts and is weather resistant. The authentic slate look adds natural accents and impresses all year round with its elegant design and clean lines. The original LECHUZA integrated self-watering system allows plants to receive water according to their individual needs. Thanks to the removable planting insert with retractable handles, planting can be done conveniently wherever you want. This makes seasonal planting a breeze! The planter is UV and weather resistant and features an overflow screw for excess rainwater. For indoor use, this screw must be tightened securely. For outdoor use, it must be removed so that CANTO Slatestone can be used all year round on the terrace. CANTO Slatestone is available in two sizes and also in a columnar version, CANTO Slatestone tall. The pot is also available in light gray and dark gray.

The pure mineral planting substrate LECHUZA-PON is the ideal substrate for your houseplants. For all outdoor and flowering plants, we recommend the TERRAPON organic-mineral substrate. Please refer to the specified planting volume for the quantity required.
Original LECHUZA self-watering system
The plant is planted in the planting pot using LECHUZA-PON. The substrate provides support and supplies the plant with essential nutrients. It also regulates the water supply to the roots, ensuring that the plant always receives the desired amount of water from the reservoir.

Can the planter be used outdoors?
All slate-look planters are weather and UV resistant. Therefore, they can be used without hesitation in the garden or on the terrace. Excess rainwater can drain by removing the overflow screw from the bottom.

Should old potting soil be removed from the root cell?
When planting, some potting soil is allowed to remain on the root cell. How does the watering system work? Place the included LECHUZA-PON in the insert as drainage, place the plant in it and fill the planting pot with additional substrate. Initially, water the plant from above.
