RUF hazelnut frosting cake What would a walnut cake be without a suitable frosting? Only half as tasty, of course. Our hazelnut frosting creates a melt-in-your-mouth, wonderfully nutty layer on your nut cake or your cookies, nut tarts and muffins. In the handy stand-up pouch, the frosting can easily be prepared in a bain-marie or in the microwave. The frosting is gluten free and hydrogenated fat free.

Ingredients: Sugar, vegetable fats (palm, coconut, shea), HAZELNUT (12%), skimmed cocoa powder, SKIMMED MILK POWDER, natural flavors, emulsifier lecithin. May contain traces of other NUTS
Instructions for use
- Microwave preparation: Place the bag upright in the microwave and heat for 2 minutes on low power (no higher than 240 watts or lowest power setting; refer to appliance manufacturer's instructions for use). Remove the bag from the microwave and knead briefly. Repeat this process until the frosting looks runny. Cut the top corner of the bag with scissors and spread the liquid frosting over the cooled pastries. Note: Setting too high a power (greater than 240 watts) and heating for too long may lead to product quality deterioration.
- Water bath preparation: Place the unopened sachet in an empty bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. It is then removed from the water with a spoon, dried and kneaded well. If the glaze is not yet completely liquid, put it in water for another 1-2 minutes. Then cut off the top of the bag and spread the liquid frosting over the cooled pastry.
