Product descriptions
When the phrase "icing on the cake" was first used to indicate the culmination of a day, an event, or a multi-step process with a single element, we were probably referring to coconut kernels. The ultimate treat for refined desserts, enriched with flavor and healthy properties, thanks to a pure product, prepared with the best quality fruit. Basically, everything from the coconut and its plant is used, and the coconut in particular has been defined as a very nutritious food, being rich in fiber, vitamins and mineral salts. Each country has its own traditions and uses this plant and its derivatives according to its own culture. The coconuts are hand-harvested in Sri Lanka, sun-dried and subjected to a pressurized carbon dioxide treatment to prevent the formation and proliferation of unwanted parasites. It is not cooked above 42°, does not undergo any chemical treatment or bleaching process, artificial additives and preservatives are prohibited. The drying is gentle and the pulp is shaved for a 100% authentic and natural end result. It is a misconception that coconut is a fat concentrate and causes weight gain, on the contrary, it is a food rich in energy and nutritional values that can easily be included in snacks to replace products much richer in sugars and preservatives. However, for this coconut to be valid in this sense, it must be grown naturally, processed at low temperatures, without additives and properly stored, which is guaranteed by the practically hermetically sealed resealable jar that contains it and the exclusively black color to protect it from light and moisture.
