🌿 Yerba mate tea grows exclusively in South America. The cut and dried leaves and stems are used for this tea. Mate tea is a delicious drink in which the leaves of the mate tree (yerba) are infused with hot or cold water.
🌿 The word mate comes from the drinking vessel - matí, a calabash, which is used for drinking. For the correct preparation of mate tea (traditional style), a calabash, a bombilla (drinking straw) is required. Yerba mate is poured into this mate cup and infused with water. The prepared extract is then drunk from the calabash through a special strained drinking pipe, the bombilla.
🌿A perfect idea for mate tea beginners.
🌿Mate is unlike any other drink you've had because of its nature, flavor and effect. With every sip, you absorb valuable vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
