In the late 1960s, NASA scientists invented a unique new material, later called memory foam, to absorb the pressure of G-force during spaceflight. Our founders recognized the material's pressure-relieving properties, providing unmatched comfort and support. So they took this original NASA invention and spent years perfecting it in the Tempur material, creating the original memory foam pillows.
