About us

The history of the ZWILLING company began on June 13, 1731 in the zodiac sign of Gemini. Although the company logo has changed considerably over the years and the small knife manufacturer has become an international cookware manufacturer, our quality standards have not changed. We have come a long way from a small forge in Solingen producing quality knives and blades to a global company that sets the standard for high quality cookware. Over the years, we have become inventors. Since 1731, we have been making ZWILLING knives in Solingen, Germany, the birthplace of the world's sword, knife and scissor makers. Our master bladesmiths are trained for 8 years before they can lay their hands on our knives. Unfolding and cutting the ingredients, handling, tasting here and there, the moment you smell the sauce specially prepared according to a family recipe.
