Instructions for use
When preparing Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2, carefully follow the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare fresh food before each meal and feed them immediately. Do not reuse food scraps. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Do not heat formula in the microwave (risk of overheating). 1 Let the freshly boiled drinking water cool to about 40°C and add 2/3 of the required amount of water. 2 For precise powder dosing, wipe the included measuring spoon on the squeegee. Use only the measuring spoon provided. 3 Pour the required amount of powder into the bottle. Store the measuring spoon in the spoon holder. 4 Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for about 10 seconds, pour the remaining amount of drinking water and shake again. 5 Open the bottle and attach the teat. Check the contents of the bottle for drinking temperature (approx. 37°C). DOSAGE AND PREPARATION: The number of bottles and drinking quantities are indicative and may vary from person to person. FOR 1 SPOON OF POWDER YOU NEED 30 ML OF WATER. When full, one measuring spoon contains 4.8 g. Child's age: after 6 months, bottle meals per day 1-3, ready-to-drink foods (ml) 230, per meal required: water in ml 210, measuring spoon 7 Child's age: after 6 months , bottle meals per day 1-3, ready-to-drink foods (ml) 200, Per meal required: Water in ml 180, Measuring spoon 6 Age of the child: after month a 6th, for smaller quantities to drink: Ready-drink food (ml) 170, Per meal required: Water in ml 150, measuring spoon 5 Child's age: after the 6th month, for smaller quantities to drink: Food ready to drink (ml) 130, Per meal required: Water in ml 120, measuring spoon 4 Child's age: after the 6th month, for the youngest Drinking quantities: Ready-to-drink food (ml) 100, Necessary at the table: Water in ml 90, measuring spoon 3 Babies need approx. 5 meals a day. One meal from the bottle must be replaced with each complementary meal.

About nutrition: Exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months is ideal for your baby. Like any follow-on milk, Aptamil® Profutura DUOAdvance 2 follow-on milk should not be used as a substitute for breast milk in the first 6 months, but generally only after 6 months as part of a mixed diet. However, your baby's individual growth and development needs may make it necessary to introduce the following foods into your baby's diet at an earlier stage as part of a mixed diet. Please ask your pediatrician for advice. Regarding dental health: All infant formulas contain carbohydrates. Frequent and prolonged contact with foods containing carbohydrates can cause tooth decay. Do not let your baby constantly suck on the bottle.
