Product description
Dark Raisins Raisins, also known as sultanas, are the result of drying grapes. To do this, moisture is naturally removed from the grain up to 15 to 18 percent. This is usually done in the sun, but drying in the shade is also considered common. In unfavorable climates, drying can take place in specially designed drying ovens. The type of drying has no influence on the flavor of the beans. Due to the sugar content of dried grapes, they are suitable for use in desserts. Also, many muesli mixes get a lot more from them than just a fruity flavor component. Due to its high content of minerals, vitamins and amino acids, it is a valuable source of energy in food. Only fully ripe grapes are used. Only these have an optimal sugar content and therefore guarantee a balanced aromatic experience. A final light lubrication of the dried fruit before bottling prevents individual fruit from sticking together during storage.
