TIP 1: Use our fondant calculator TIP 2: For a firm pastry, apply shortly before it dries. TIP 3: Roll out the fondant at room temperature and cut it into the desired shape with a knife or cutter. TIP 4: To get a smooth surface, cover the cake with cling film before applying the fondant so that air bubbles do not form under the fondant during application. TIP 5: Dust the edges with a little cornmeal before rolling out the fondant to prevent the fondant from sticking to the edges during rolling.
