- Our dried black currants have a deep purple color and an intense aroma of ripe berries. They taste simply fantastic and are suitable as a treat between meals, for baking or infused with hot water as a full-bodied and refreshing tea.
- Blackcurrants are characterized by their dark, dark red, almost black color and are popular worldwide for their fruity taste. These berries originally come from northern Europe, where they are often made into drinks, fruit spreads and cakes. To say that blackcurrants are rich in vitamin C would be an understatement. They contain four times more vitamin C than oranges and twice as many antioxidants as blueberries. Blackcurrants are a real superfood!
- While blackcurrants are rich in micronutrients and have an intense flavor, these freeze-dried berries can taste a bit sour.
