The multifunctional slicer sono 2 has a self-supporting design. This means that the slices can be placed directly on large plates and platters. All parts that ensure stability are made of metal. This makes the machine robust and capable of accurately slicing any type of food, such as fruit, vegetables, bread or sausages.

• Does the slicer have a non-slip base? Our devices are non-slip as standard only on smooth surfaces. There are also rubber feet on the bottom of our machines. To ensure a firm grip, the rubber feet must be free of grease and crumbs.
  
• Why do almost all slicers have the same blade diameter? The standard diameter of 17 cm has proven to be good for domestic use. If the diameter of the blade is larger, additional safety rules must be observed.
  
• Will the blade from my old slicer fit the new slicer? The shape of the old blade and the color of the old gear must match the shape and color of the new blade.
  
• How long does the blade stay sharp? How long a blade stays sharp always depends on the food being cut - a lot of hard food or a lot of soft food. How the appliance is used and how you cut with it also influences the sharpness of the knife.
  
• How much does a universal slicer cost? Prices vary by product category. You can choose between the categories of premium, comfort, economy and manual appliances.
