Our teak is handcrafted in 1836 in Uji, Kyoto, respecting tradition and guaranteeing the best possible quality. Follow our instructions to prepare it both hot and cold. Great either way.
Tencha 天茶
Leaf tea is the raw material for matcha. By drying tea leaves that have been grown in the same way as Gyokuro, without scraping them, they become Tencha. The stems and veins of the leaves are then removed, the leaves are simply crushed and matcha is produced.
Matcha 粉未茶
Powdered tea resulting from the processing of finely dried sencha leaves. A valuable raw material is obtained at different levels, from the highest (ceremonial) to the middle (premium) and to the least valuable (culinary). All three categories describe products of the highest quality.
Sencha 煎茶
It is widely known for having a good balance between flavor, sweetness and astringency. . It goes well with any dessert, goes well with sweets like manju, but also with savory things like rice crackers and is also recommended as a drink with meals.
Genmaicha 玄米茶
Sencha tea mixed with fried rice. It is characterized by the aroma of fragrant brown rice and has a refreshing taste with a little bitterness and astringency. It is a tea that is prepared with hot water and its flavor is enjoyed.
